Friday, February 17th @ noon to 1pm
1501 Freeway Blvd, Brooklyn Center
(near Highway 100 and Interstate 694)
On Friday, hundreds of FBI personnel from the MN regional field office will move in to their new headquarters at a massive complex in Brooklyn Center. Protesters will gather outside the new headquarters to demonstrate support for anti-war and international activists targeted by the FBI. Since September 24, 2010, when the FBI raided people’s homes and the office of the Anti-War Committee, a grand jury has met in secret in Chicago, where U.S. Attorneys are working to indict the activists for ‘material support for terrorism.’ As part of the same investigation, the FBI has manufactured charges against longtime Chicano activist, Carlos Montes, in Los Angeles. Join us in front of the new FBI headquarters, to speak out against political repression.
Organized by the MN Committee to Stop FBI Repression.
