Bike Ride Against Political Repression 2012

Fundraiser: Bike Ride Against Political Repression
Sunday, October 14
9:00-9:45am — Check-in / Registration
10:00am — Ride begins!

The ride starts outside of Freewheel Bike Shop on the Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis.
(Behind Midtown Global Market, near Lake St. & Chicago Ave.)

RSVP on the facebook event:

Join us for a bike ride to support the 23 anti-war & international solidarity activists who were raided & subpoenaed by the FBI in September 2010 and are still facing ongoing investigation and possibility of indictments.

We’ll have a short family-friendly route (under 5 miles) and a 25-mile route, all on the wonderful Minneapolis bike paths. The short route will go from Freewheel, head east on the Greenway to Brackett Park, then back to Freewheel again. The long route will start out going the same way as the short route, then continue on to make a 25-mile loop around Minneapolis.

Click here for a PDF with the maps & instructions for both routes.

Just get some sponsors for your ride (or make a donation) and join us on Oct 14!
